The Austin Film Society promotes the appreciation of film and supports creative filmmaking.
The Austin Film Society:
- exhibits rarely seen films
- provides fiscal sponsorship for film projects
- administers the Texas Filmmakers' Production Fund
- manages Austin Studios (a 20 acre film production facility) in partnership with the City of Austin.
